Vianney had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Webster Groves Statesmen an 11-0 shutout. The Golden Griffins might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Vianney's victory bumped their record up to 23-7. As for Webster Groves, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 15 of their last 18 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-20 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Vianney will venture away from home to face off against St. Dominic at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
