The Eastern Ramblers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 21 points or more this season. They were the clear victor by a 57-36 margin over Kingdom Christian Academy. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Eastern.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Eastern to victory, but perhaps none more so than Samia Greene, who scored 24 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. That makes it five consecutive games in which Greene has scored at least 25% of Eastern's points. Jayme Poindexter was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Eastern has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-2-1 record this season. As for Kingdom Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Eastern's road trip will continue as they head out to face School Without Walls at 5:30 p.m. on January 3, 2024. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in District of Columbia (School Without Walls is ranked ninth, while Eastern is ranked first). Kingdom Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
