It was a good run, but the Klein Cain Hurricanes unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 72-65 to Tomball Memorial. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (60), Klein Cain still had to take the loss.
Several Hurricanes players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Koye Rondeno, who scored 15 points along with three steals. Nick Delgado was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with six rebounds and four blocks.
Klein Cain's loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-13. As for Tomball Memorial, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 24-9 record this season.
Klein Cain will head out on the road to face off against Klein at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Klein Cain's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last five matches. As for Tomball Memorial, they will be playing at home against Klein Forest at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Tomball Memorial has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 574 points over their last nine contests.
