Richmond scored the most points they've had this season on Thursday, but it wasn't enough. They took a 65-58 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Almont Raiders. The Blue Devils were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Raiders apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February.

Richmond's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Almont, their victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Richmond will finish 2024 at home by hosting All Saints Central at 6:00 p.m. on December 27th. As for Almont, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on North Branch at 7:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
