The Grace Christian Academy Lions put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Spring Hill 64-35 at home.
Despite the loss, Spring Hill still got an impressive performance from Jeycelyn Brashear, who scored 11 points along with 6 rebounds and 4 steals. Brashear has been hot recently, having posted two or more blocks the last four times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Penelope Phillips, who scored 7 points.
Grace Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Spring Hill, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Grace Christian Academy will take on Battle Ground Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Spring Hill won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Marshall County at 6:00 p.m. on November 28th.
