Aubrey has won 14 straight games at home (dating back to last season), while Krum has won 14 straight on the road also dating back to last season, but those streaks won't matter much on Tuesday. The Aubrey Chaparrals will host the Krum Bobcats at 6:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Aubrey's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. Everything went their way against Ranchview as Aubrey made off with a 16-0 win.

Nobody will forget Molly Reid's heroic performance anytime soon (especially Ranchview's batters): she turned in a perfect game. The dominant performance also gave Reid a new career-high in strikeouts (nine).
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Abby Lynch-Buxton, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. Another player making a difference was Sophia Mulhern, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI, two runs, and one double.
Aubrey always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .667. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .545 or higher in three consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, Krum got the win against Ranchview on Friday by a conclusive 15-0.
Brooke Staton looked comfortable as she pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Taylor Fauver was a standout: she scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. Rylee Tucker was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.
Aubrey's victory bumped their record up to 15-2. As for Krum, their win bumped their record up to 13-0.
Tuesday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Aubrey has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .478. However, it's not like Krum struggles in that department as they've averaged .528. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Aubrey came up short against Krum in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, falling 4-0. Can Aubrey avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
