The Heartland Lutheran Red Hornets lost against the Nebraska Christian Eagles back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Heartland Lutheran suffered a rough 56-35 defeat at the hands of Nebraska Christian.
Heartland Lutheran's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brielle Saddler, who scored 10 points along with 6 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Ema Koch, who scored 11 points.
Heartland Lutheran's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Nebraska Christian, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Heartland Lutheran will take on Sumner-Eddyville-Miller at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Nebraska Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against High Plains at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
