Meanwhile, while Wimberley put up some  runs on Friday, the same  can't be said for Pleasanton. The Texans walked away with  a   4-0  victory over the Eagles.
 Ty Thames made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run and  allowing only  one  hit while striking out seven over 5.2 innings pitched. He has been consistent: he hasn't  given up  more than two  hits in eight consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box,  going 2-for-3 with one  triple, one  double,  and one  RBI.
 Thames wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Jayden Hall, who  went 1-for-2 with one  RBI.
 Sweeny's win bumped their record up to 23-10-1. As for Wimberley, their victory bumped their record up to 20-6-1.
