Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Everything went their way against TEACH Homeschool on Monday as they made off with a 16-2 win. With that victory, the Patriots brought their scoring average up to 6.6 runs per game.

Dalton REYNOLDS looked comfortable as he tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Loudon TRASK was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in May of 2024. Collin FELTS was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least four batters in seven consecutive contests.

Meanwhile, Fairfax HomeSchool fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Southern Maryland Christian Academy on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 7-6. The Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Martin Ewell was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association pushed their record up to 8-6-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Fairfax HomeSchool, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-10.
