The LaBelle Cowboys/Cowgirls posted their biggest win yet this season on Saturday. They put the hurt on Neumann with a sharp 74-52 victory. The win made it back-to-back wins for LaBelle.
LaBelle's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Clifford Love led the charge by scoring 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Giovanni Beaver, who scored 15 points.
LaBelle has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-11 record this season. As for Neumann, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-7.
LaBelle will head out on the road to take on Bishop Verot at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Bishop Verot presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than LaBelle in Florida (Bishop Verot is ranked 90th, while LaBelle is ranked 611th). As for Neumann, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Donahue Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Donahue Catholic has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 768 points over their last 11 contests.
