Carver Vo-Tech is a perfect 5-0 against Benjamin Franklin since September of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Bears will be playing at home against the Bayhawks at 3:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Carver Vo-Tech has four straight wins, Benjamin Franklin has 14 straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Carver Vo-Tech and Lewis meet (five straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Thursday. The Bears took their contest with ease, bagging a 37-6 victory over the Falcons. The matchup marked the Bears' most dominant win of the season.

Carver Vo-Tech found their leader in sophomore Elijah Jones, who picked up four sacks and made eight total tackles. Christian Bryant was no stranger to the big play, cutting upfield on a catch that went for 57 yards.

Carver Vo-Tech was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 202 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 154 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.

Carver Vo-Tech didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Braylen Cooper and Caleb Bobo. Jones was another major factor on D, picking up four sacks and making eight total tackles.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 38-6, which was the final score in Benjamin Franklin's tilt against Lake Clifton on Thursday.

Carver Vo-Tech now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Benjamin Franklin, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.
