Greenfield will look to defend their home turf on Friday against Humboldt at 7:00 PM. Coming off of a win even when the odds were against them, Greenfield have to be feeling especially confident with the MaxPreps state rankings on their side for this one.
Greenfield had a bit more than a touchdown to spare in a 28-16 victory over Fulton County. The success made it back-to-back wins for Greenfield.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 0-49, which was the final score in Humboldt's tilt against McNairy Central last Friday. Humboldt were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-42.
Greenfield's win lifted them to 4-2 while Humboldt's defeat dropped them down to 0-5. We'll find out if Greenfield can add another positive mark to their record or if Humboldt can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Greenfield's step.
