East Mills have been homebodies their last two matches, but they are heading out on Friday. They will take on Essex at 7:00 PM. East Mills don't have the home-field advantage, but they do enjoy an advantage in the MaxPreps rankings.
After a disappointing three points in their last match, East Mills made sure to put some points up on the board against Clarinda Academy last Friday. East Mills put a hurting on Clarinda Academy to the tune of 54-0. Followers of East Mills probably expected little less of the team in a season in which they have collected four blowout victories.
Meanwhile, things haven't been easy for Essex, and their matchup last Friday only extended their streak of losses to three. They took a serious blow against Bedford, falling 16-56. The state rankings had actually given Essex a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.
East Mills simply couldn't be stopped the last time the two teams met, as they easily beat Essex 36-0. Will East Mills repeat their success, or does Essex have a better game plan this time around ? We'll find out soon enough.
