Softball Recap: Ralls Has No Trouble Against Olton

Ralls won the last time they faced Olton and things went their way on Saturday too. Ralls blew past Olton 22-5. The Jackrabbits might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by six runs or more this season.

Ralls let Adyson Bartlett and Destiny Garza run wild. Bartlett went 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI, while Garza scored four runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. That's the most runs Bartlett has posted since back in February of 2024. Another player making a difference was Allie Hitt, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.

Ralls hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They are 3-1 when they post two or more strikeouts.

The victory made it two in a row for Ralls and bumps their season record up to 8-10-1. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 5 runs in those games. As for Olton, they are on a 28-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-12.

Looking ahead, Ralls will host Hale Center at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Olton, they will venture away from home to take on New Deal at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Olton is facing New Deal at the right time seeing as New Deal is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
