It was a good run, but the Linden-McKinley Panthers unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 37-36 to Mifflin. Linden-McKinley lost against Mifflin in their previous head to head back in January of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 51-38 score last time.
Despite the loss, Linden-McKinley still got an impressive performance from Christiana Towns, who scored 26 points. The matchup was Towns' sixth in a row with at least ten points. Dennie Houston was another key contributor, scoring six points.
Linden-McKinley's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Mifflin, their win bumped their record up to 1-2.
Linden-McKinley will be home for the holidays to greet Columbus International at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Mifflin, they will head out on the road to face off against Northland at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
