The Neumann Celtics can now show off 13 landslide victories after their most recent match on Tuesday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 66-39 win over Bishop Verot. The win was nothing new for Neumann as they're now sitting on three straight.
Neumann had a senior duo take command as Sophia McCartney scored 26 points along with nine rebounds and six assists and Sydney Martin dropped a double-double on 21 points and 12 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Mylee Van de wouw, who scored ten points along with six steals.
Neumann's victory was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-2. As for Bishop Verot, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-4.
Neumann won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Barron Collier at 7:00 p.m. on January 17th. Barron Collier's defense has only allowed 26.6 points per game this season, so Neumann's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Bishop Verot, they will be playing at home against Seacrest Country Day at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
