Softball Recap: Arbor View Has No Trouble Against Silverado

While Arbor View put up plenty of runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Silverado. The Aggies blew past the Skyhawks 18-0. The Aggies might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by eight runs or more this season.

Malaya Tellis and Lilly Easton did most of the damage at the plate: Tellis scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances, while Easton scored three runs. That's the most runs Easton has posted over her last 12 contests. Khloe Beno was another key player, scoring two runs while going 1-for-1.

Arbor View hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They are 6-1 when they post two or more strikeouts.

Arbor View's victory bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Silverado, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.

Looking ahead, Arbor View will square off against Green Valley at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Aggies' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Gators have averaged an impressive 9.5 runs per game this season. As for Silverado, they will challenge Bishop Gorman at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
