The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Clear Spring in their matchups with Mountain Ridge: they've now lost three in a row.
Mountain Ridge got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Will Patterson out in front who scored 22 points along with seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Ian Duncan, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds.
Clear Spring's loss was their eighth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-20. As for Mountain Ridge, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Clear Spring will take on Fort Hill at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Fort Hill's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last 15 matches. As for Mountain Ridge, they will be playing at home against Berlin Brothersvalley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Berlin Brothersvalley will roll in looking for their 17th straight victory, something Mountain Ridge surely won't give up without a fight.
