The Owasso Rams fought the good fight in their overtime  match against the Edmond Memorial Bulldogs  on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a   56-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs. Owasso was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Edmond Memorial apparently hadn't forgotten their  loss the last time these teams played  back in March of 2018.
 Edmond Memorial's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Avery Hjelmstad, who  scored 19 points along with 7  rebounds and 4  steals. That makes it two consecutive games in which  Hjelmstad has scored at least 25% of Edmond Memorial's points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Janiyah Williams, who  dropped  a double-double on 17 points and 12  rebounds.
 Owasso's defeat dropped their record down to 2-1. As for Edmond Memorial, they now  have a winning record of 2-1.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Owasso will stay at home for another  game and welcome Union at 6:30  p.m.  on December 12th. Union will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. As for Edmond Memorial, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Grant at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Grant will have to bring their A-game into this one,  as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Oklahoma Rankings (they are ranked 235th, while Edmond Memorial is ranked 51st).
