Oklahoma Christian and Bethany are an even 3-3 against one another since January of 2016, but not for long. The Oklahoma Christian Saints will head out on the road to take on the Bethany Bronchos at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Friday, Oklahoma Christian slipped by Christian Heritage 44-43.
Meanwhile, Bethany entered their tilt with Ardmore with eight consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with nine. Bethany breezed by Ardmore at home to the tune of 93-47 on Friday. Bethany has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 matches by 26 points or more this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bethany to victory, but perhaps none more so than Keziah Lofton, who scored 27 points along with eight rebounds and two steals. Lofton hasn't dropped below 18 points for seven straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Zya Vann, who scored 24 points along with four steals.
Oklahoma Christian's victory bumped their record up to 9-10. As for Bethany, they pushed their record up to 18-4 with that win, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season.
Oklahoma Christian was dealt a bruising 81-22 loss at the hands of Bethany when the teams last played back in February of 2023. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Oklahoma Christian was down 38-8.
