The Beddingfield Bruins won the last time they faced the Eastern Wayne Warriors, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Beddingfield came out on top against Eastern Wayne by a score of 47-35. The win made it back-to-back wins for Beddingfield.
Beddingfield got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Natasha Marshall out in front who scored 12 points along with five steals. Marshall is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last nine games she's played. Another player making a difference was Kamyla Hill, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds.
Beddingfield pushed their record up to 12-3 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.8 points per game. As for Eastern Wayne, their loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Beddingfield will take on Princeton at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. Princeton will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings (they are ranked 468th, while Beddingfield is ranked 128th). As for Eastern Wayne, they will be playing in front of their home fans against North Johnston at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
