The Woodinville Falcons stacked a 14th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They really took it to Redmond for the full four quarters, racking up a 74-44 victory at home. The win was familiar territory for Woodinville who now have 11 in a row.
Redmond's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Sofia Locati, who scored nine points along with six steals and two blocks. Iha Kasam was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Woodinville's win was their 20th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 20-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.8 points per game. As for Redmond, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-12.
Woodinville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Redmond will be playing in front of their home fans against North Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully North Creek focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Saturday.
