The Wabash Apaches will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against the Taylor Titans at 7:00 p.m. Hopefully Wabash focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 26 on Saturday.
Wabash can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game. They came out on top against North Miami by a score of 56-47.
Wabash's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kaitlynn Honeycutt led the charge by scoring 15 points along with five rebounds and four steals. Kierra Wilson was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with seven rebounds and two blocks.
Meanwhile, Taylor's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their 12th straight loss. They were outmatched by Lewis Cass on the road and fell 61-10. Taylor was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 37-2.
Wabash's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 10-11. As for Taylor, their loss dropped their record down to 1-18.
Everything came up roses for Wabash against Taylor in their previous meeting back in November of 2022 as the squad secured a 50-16 victory. With Wabash ahead 38-12 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
