After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Wilcox-Hildreth, the Silver Lake Mustangs were happy to have found some success on Friday. They walked away with a 40-29 win over Lawrence-Nelson. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Silver Lake also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2023.
Silver Lake's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Katy Soucek, who scored ten points along with six rebounds. Makenna Karr was another key contributor, scoring five points along with ten rebounds.
Silver Lake has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season. As for Lawrence-Nelson, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-12.
