Queen's Grant waltzed into their matchup on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They breezed past the Bonnie Cone Leadership Academy Eagles to the tune of 75-42. The Stallions pushed the score to 67-29 by the end of the third, a deficit the Eagles cut but never quite recovered from.

Queen's Grant's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Preston Scott, who went 6-for-7 to rack up 15 points and five assists. Scott is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last five games he's played. Another player making a difference was Mekhi Allen, who shot 64% from the field en route to 20 points.

Queen's Grant's victory bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Bonnie Cone Leadership Academy, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Queen's Grant will head out to challenge Piedmont Community Charter at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Stallions' defense better be ready for this one: the Patriots have averaged an impressive 65 points per game this season. As for Bonnie Cone Leadership Academy, they will venture away from home to take on Jackson Day at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
