Queen's Grant had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They really took it to the Bonnie Cone Leadership Academy Eagles for the full four quarters, racking up a 75-42 win. The Stallions pushed the score to 67-29 by the end of the third, a deficit the Eagles cut but never quite recovered from.

Queen's Grant got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Preston Scott out in front who shot 86% from the field on his way to 15 points and five assists. Scott is on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last five games he's played. Another player making a difference was Mekhi Allen, who went 7-for-11 to rack up 20 points.

Despite the loss, Bonnie Cone Leadership Academy still got an impressive performance from Kamran Nichols, who shot 64% from the field en route to 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayce Newton, who posted nine points.

Queen's Grant's win bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Bonnie Cone Leadership Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.
