Rock Creek let Kenneth Ashby and Kelton Teal run wild. Ashby got on base in four of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases and three runs, while Teal went 3-for-5 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one double. Those three hits gave Teal a new career-high. Ryder Ribera also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
Meanwhile, Turner waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They blew past the Wildcats 18-1. The result was nothing new for the Falcons, who have now won four contests by 12 runs or more so far this season.
Karsyn Kinslow made a splash no matter where he played. He struck out six batters over 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). Kinslow was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.
In other batting news, Clint Henry was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Braxten Kelley was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run.
Turner always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .840. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Rock Creek's record is now 6-8. As for Turner, their record now sits at 7-1.
