The Collins Hill Eagles were the  67-44 winner over the Lambert Longhorns when they last played one another  last Saturday, but their luck changed this time around. Collins Hill was just a bucket shy of victory  on Thursday and fell  43-42 to Lambert. It was the first time  this season that Collins Hill let down their fans at home.
 Several Eagles players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Paris  Fillingame, who  scored 18 points along with four  steals. Fillingame scored a full 42.9% of Collins Hill's points, the fifth time in a row she's  earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Disaya Reid, who  scored eight points along with three  steals.
 Collins Hill's defeat  ended  a  four-game streak of wins at home  dating back to last season and  dropped them to 8-5. As for Lambert, the  victory was  the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-8.
 Collins Hill and Rockdale County will round out the year against one another at 11:30  a.m.  on Saturday at. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another  in Georgia (Rockdale County is ranked 93rd, while Collins Hill is ranked 72nd). As for Lambert, they will head out on the road to face off against Mountain View at 5:30  p.m.  on Wednesday.
