After each having a week off, the Lowndes Vikings and the North Paulding Wolfpack will shake off the cobwebs and  square off against  one another  at 8:00  p.m.  on Friday. Lowndes will be looking to keep their eight-game home win streak  alive.
 Lowndes is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another  one of Georgia's top teams: Valdosta, who was ranked 18th  in their home state at the time (Lowndes was ranked seventh). Lowndes walked away with  a   30-20  win over Valdosta  last Friday.
 The match pitted two dominant  signal callers against one another in  Marvis Parrish and  Todd Robinson. Parrish had a great game and rushed for 131 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries. Meanwhile,  Robinson was balling out in the loss, rushing for 65 yards and a touchdown, while also throwing for 202 yards and a touchdown.
 Lowndes was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 281  rushing yards. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their  rushing yard total in four consecutive  games.
 Meanwhile,  winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better  (just ask North Paulding). They came out on top against Marietta by a score of  38-28  last Friday.
 This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to  James Skelly and  Khalil Harrell. Skelly rushed for 151 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.2 yards per carry while  Harrell rushed for 89 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries. Harrell has become a key player for North Paulding: the team is undefeated when he posts  at  least  two  rushing touchdowns, but 3-4 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of  Dube Enongene, who gained 63 total yards and a touchdown.
 North Paulding is  on a roll lately: they've  won three of their last four matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record  this season. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 28.5 points per game. As for Lowndes, their victory bumped their record up to 9-1.
