Pettus fell victim to Agua Dulce's stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They took a serious blow against the Longhorns, falling 49-0. Pettus has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Meanwhile, Woodsboro's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 45-8 loss at the hands of Bruni.
The losses dropped both teams to an identical 3-6.
Pettus came up short against Woodsboro when the teams last played back in November of 2022, falling 25-14. Can Pettus avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
