McLeod had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 23.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They took down the Union Grove Lions 67-51. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Longhorns also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Union Grove lost, don't look at Jace Roberts. Despite the final result, he went 9 of 16 en route to 23 points and seven rebounds. That's the most points Roberts has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Jesse Fulmer, who posted ten points.

McLeod's win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 12-17. As for Union Grove, their loss dropped their record down to 15-12.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Hawkins the next time they take the court. McLeod will head out to face Hawkins at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while Union Grove will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
