The Woodward Academy War Eagles stacked a tenth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Lovejoy 81-51 at home. The win was familiar territory for Woodward Academy who now have six in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Woodward Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Zachary Foster, who scored seven points along with eight assists and three blocks. It was the first time this season that Foster posted eight or more assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Brandon Peters, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Woodward Academy is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 20-5 record this season. As for Lovejoy, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost eight of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season.
Woodward Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Lovejoy also has no future games currently scheduled.
