Franklin came tearing into Thursday's game with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Taunton Tigers. The Panthers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers, too.
Franklin was dominant in they sets they won, taking each by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 21-25, 25-8, 25-14.
Makayla Kuykendall paced Franklin's offense, picking up 26 kills. Kuykendall got some help from Olivia Caruso and her 32 assists. Emma Cunningham controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.
Franklin's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Taunton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-3.
