Farragut's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Cookeville, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Farragut will take on Fulton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Fulton will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Tennessee Rankings (they are ranked 208th, while Farragut is ranked 59th). As for Cookeville, they will head out on the road to face off against Webb at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Webb and Cookeville are at an even 4-4 over their past eight head-to-heads.
