The Farragut Admirals were the 65-53 winner over the Cookeville Cavaliers when they last played one another back in March of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The matchup between the pair wasn't particularly close, with Farragut falling 41-24. They have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Leading Cookeville to victory were Isabel Garcia and Macy Hudson. Garcia scored 9 points along with 12 rebounds, while Hudson scored 12 points along with 7 rebounds. Allie Gillies was another key contributor, scoring 6 points.
Farragut's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Cookeville, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Farragut will take on Fulton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Fulton will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Tennessee Rankings (they are ranked 208th, while Farragut is ranked 59th). As for Cookeville, they will head out on the road to face off against Webb at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Webb and Cookeville are at an even 4-4 over their past eight head-to-heads.
