Winning always takes teamwork, but on Monday Jack Whitman stepped things up a notch to give Frankfort Christian Academy the 'W'. Whitman struck out 11 batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off three hits (and only one walk), good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. Perhaps even more impressive was his lead-up to Monday's matchup, in which he improved his previous run total for three consecutive games.
