Leading Wellington-Napoleon to victory were Kaylin Ellensohn and Isabelle Miller. Ellensohn dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds, while Miller scored eight points along with seven rebounds and three steals. The match was Ellensohn's third in a row with at least ten points.
Plattsburg now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Wellington-Napoleon, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Plattsburg will be staying on the road on Wednesday to face off against Bishop LeBlond on December 27th. Wellington-Napoleon will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Lafayette County at 5:30 p.m. on January 3, 2024. Lafayette County will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive.
