Century waltzed into their contest on Thursday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They breezed by the Newberg Tigers to the tune of 69-33. The Jaguars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matches by 20 points or more this season.

Century's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Alyssa Loza, who went 7 for 12 on her way to 17 points. What's more, Loza also racked up four assists, the most she's had since back in December of 2023. Mia Brownson was another key player, going 5 of 11 en route to 12 points in addition to five boards and three steals.

Century's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.5 points per game. As for Newberg, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-8.

Century will have a chance to go back-to-back against Newberg: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
