King/Drew has gone 9-0-1 against Locke recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The King/Drew Golden Eagles will square off against the Locke Saints at 2:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (King/Drew has three straight wins, Locke has seven straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

King/Drew's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They won by a goal and slipped past Port of Los Angeles 1-0. The Golden Eagles' defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three contests.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Kennedy Caesar, who's now up to six this season.

Meanwhile, Locke managed to keep up with Harbor Teacher until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Locke lost 3-0 to Harbor Teacher.

Locke's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for King/Drew, their victory bumped their record up to 7-2.

King/Drew took their win against Locke in their previous meeting two weeks ago by a conclusive 3-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for King/Drew since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
