Susquehannock is on a six-game streak of home wins, while Kennard-Dale is on an eight-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Warriors will host the Rams at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Susquehannock 3.6, Kennard-Dale 2.4) so any runs scored will be well earned.
On Wednesday, Susquehannock got the win against Spring Grove by a conclusive 13-4. The victory continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Rockets: they've now won five in a row.

Ella Wetzel made a splash no matter where she played. She struck out nine batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off seven hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in 14 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, firing off two home runs and nine RBI while going 4-for-5. Those two home runs gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Macie Minton, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with three runs. Those three runs gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Emily Karst, who got on base in two of her three plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.
Susquehannock lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Kennard-Dale earned a 7-3 win over Eastern York on Wednesday.
Taryn Ashenfelter spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three runs (all of which were unearned) on two hits and racked up 16 Ks.
At the plate, Elaina Zabkowski was excellent, going 1-for-3 with three RBI and one double. Hailey Serruto was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.
Susquehannock's victory bumped their record up to 11-4. As for Kennard-Dale, their win bumped their record up to 16-2.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Friday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Susquehannock has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 11.2 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Kennard-Dale struggles in that department as they've been averaging 12.4 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Susquehannock couldn't quite finish off Kennard-Dale when the teams last played back in April and fell 4-2. Will the Warriors have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
