Patrick Henry Academy extended their winning streak to four on Tuesday, bumping them up to 7-4. They put the hurt on the Andrew Jackson Academy Warriors with a sharp 11-1 win. The Patriots not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since March 5th (when they won 11-1).
Rylin Brunson made a splash no matter where he played. He tossed five innings while giving up just one earned run off six hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. He was even better at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March of 2025.
In other batting news, Devin Austin was excellent, going 1-for-2 with two RBI, one run, and one double. That hit was his first of the season. Keegan Lee was another key player, getting on base in two of his three plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run.
Patrick Henry Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .529. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Andrew Jackson Academy only posted an OBP of .360.
As for Andrew Jackson Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-3. The matchup marked their lowest-scoring contest so far this season.
On Andrew Jackson Academy's side, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Landon Johnson, who went 2-for-3 with one run.
Coming up, Patrick Henry Academy will welcome Hilton Head Prep at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Andrew Jackson Academy, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Colleton Prep Academy at 7:00 p.m. on April 13.
