Guardian Christian Academy took a three-set loss the last time they faced off against The Carmel School, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Royal Knights had just enough and edged out the Wildcats 3-2 on Friday. Winning may never get old, but the Royal Knights sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Guardian Christian Academy was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (103-90), but they still managed to win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-19, 9-25, 16-25, 15-13.

Guardian Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 10-12. As for The Carmel School, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 9-12.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Guardian Christian Academy will host Richmond Christian at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for The Carmel School, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against The New Community School at 5:45 p.m.
