The Apache Warriors won the last time they faced the Carnegie Wildcats, and things went their way on Friday too. Apache had just enough and edged Carnegie out 48-46. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Apache.
Carnegie's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Charles Boettger, who scored 6 points along with 8 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jalen Wallace, who scored 12 points along with 6 assists.
Apache's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Carnegie, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-1.
Apache will be playing at home against Hobart at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hobart and Apache are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads. As for Carnegie, they will head out on the road to face off against Lookeba-Sickles at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lookeba-Sickles is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.
