The Durham Trojans put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against Corning by a score of 54-41. That's another feather in the cap for Durham, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Durham's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Brady Doyle, who scored 14 points along with 8 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which Doyle has scored at least 25% of Durham's points. Perry Phillips was another key contributor, scoring 10 points along with 6 rebounds.
Durham pushed their record up to 4-0 with that win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.0 points per game. As for Corning, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Durham won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Gridley at 7:30 p.m. on December 2nd. Gridley has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 247 points over their last four contests. As for Corning, they will head out on the road to face off against Red Bluff at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
