The Nettleton Tigers were the 56-53 winner over the Choctaw County Chargers when they last played one another last Thursday, but their luck changed this time around. Nettleton was just a bucket shy of victory on Thursday and fell 52-51 to Choctaw County.
It was another big night for Caleb Cunningham, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 13 rebounds for Choctaw County. Garrick Alston was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Nettleton's loss dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Choctaw County, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season.
Nettleton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 57-56 victory vs. Mooreville on the 9th. Choctaw County has also already played their next match, a 59-58 win against East Webster on the 9th.
