Kosciusko had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the eight-run drubbing they dealt Eupora on Monday. The Whippets blew past the Eagles 9-1. The result was nothing new for the Whippets, who have now won 12 matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Kosciusko has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Eupora, they moved to 19-6 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Kosciusko does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Eupora, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Hamilton at 6:30 p.m.
