The Santo Wildcats will head out to challenge the Graford Rabbits at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Santo has given up an average of 9.4 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.
Santo will bounce into Friday's game after beating De Leon, who they had gone 0-5 against in their five prior meetings. The Wildcats came out on top against the Bearcats by a score of 16-13 on Tuesday.

Santo got a massive performance out of Myranda Cain, who went 3-for-5 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Those three RBI gave Cain a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Brailee Hall, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 4-for-4.
Cain wasn't the only one working in the home run department: Santo lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Graford fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against Lipan on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Indians by a score of 11-10. That's two games in a row now that the Rabbits have lost by just one run.
Faith Perry and Lilly Ruddy stepped up to the plate in a big way. Perry scored three runs and stole a base while going 5-for-5, while Ruddy went 4-for-5 with five RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Savahannah Martin, who scored two runs while going 2-for-5.
This is the second loss in a row for Graford and nudges their season record down to 6-8. Those defeats can't be blamed on the team's hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.5 runs over those games. As for Santo, their victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 7-9.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Friday as neither team is afraid to steal. Santo has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 6.6 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Graford struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 3.9 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Santo might still be hurting after the 17-7 loss they got from Graford when the teams last played last Tuesday. Can the Wildcats avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
