In what's become a running theme this season, the Farrell Steelers gave their fans yet another huge win on Friday. They blew past Commodore Perry 76-31 at home. Winning may never get old, but Farrell sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Farrell's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Juelz Johnson led the charge by dropping a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds. Danny Odem III was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with six rebounds.
Farrell's victory was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-3. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.7 points per game. As for Commodore Perry, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.
Farrell will face off against Rocky Grove at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Commodore Perry, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Jamestown at 7:15 p.m. Jamestown is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.
