They had to suffer through a rough 33-3 loss at the hands of Lafayette Central Catholic. Seeger has struggled against Lafayette Central Catholic recently, as their matchup on Friday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Lafayette Central Catholic's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Bobby Metzger, who rushed for 96 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries, and also threw for 86 yards and a touchdown. Another player making a difference was Jackson Cain, who gained 72 total yards and three touchdowns.
Seeger's defeat dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Lafayette Central Catholic, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 9-3.
Seeger does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Lafayette Central Catholic will be playing in front of their home fans against LaVille at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. LaVille is looking to tack on another W to their five-game streak on the road.
