The Oak Ridge Trojans will face off against the Whitney Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
If Oak Ridge beats Whitney with 33 points on Tuesday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two contests with that exact score. The Trojans took their game on Thursday with ease, bagging a 33-0 win over Granite Bay. The victory was familiar territory for the Trojans, who have now won six matchups in a row.

Oak Ridge didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Granite Bay to a completion percentage of just 44.4%. That dominant aerial defense primarily came from two players: Luci Lampe and Addison Hemans, who each logged one passes deflected. Oak Ridge wasn't nearly as limited: they posted one of 52.6%.
Oak Ridge didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Laurel Smart, Rachel Groth, and Siena Maher picked up one apiece.
Meanwhile, after only six points in their last contest, Whitney made sure to put some points up on the board against Menlo-Atherton on Saturday. The Wildcats blew past the Bears 39-7.
Whitney found their leader in sophomore Lulu Im, who threw for 212 yards and four TDs while completing 71.9% of her passes, and also rushed for 64 yards.
One reason for the win was Whitney's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for ten sacks. Kayla Mougeotte led the group effort, picking up three of those sacks all by herself.
Whitney's win bumped their record up to 9-4. As for Oak Ridge, their victory bumped their record up to 10-1.
Everything came up roses for Oak Ridge against Whitney in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 35-6 win. Do the Trojans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Wildcats turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
