The Redbank Valley Bulldogs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Clarion Area Bobcats at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Redbank Valley has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 1,320 points over their last 19 contests.
Redbank Valley put the finishing touches on their ninth blowout victory of the season on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Union as Redbank Valley made off with a 69-47 victory. Given Redbank Valley's advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 107th, while Union is ranked 391st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
It was another big night for Breckin Minich, who scored 25 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kieran Fricko, who scored 13 points along with three steals.
Meanwhile, Clarion Area stacked a seventh blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Wednesday. They claimed a resounding 74-33 victory over Cranberry Area at home. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Clarion Area.
Redbank Valley is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-2 record this season. As for Clarion Area, their victory bumped their record up to 13-5.
